We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated **Cloud & Network Infrastructure Technician** to join our team in a full-time, permanent position with a 6-month probationary period for our client, a School Board.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and support cloud infrastructure, primarily utilizing Microsoft Azure services.
- Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN network architecture.
- Oversee server, virtual machines, and network technologies, ensuring optimal performance.
- Lead and support **migration** projects, including the transition of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments or hybrid cloud solutions.
- Implement security measures, disaster recovery solutions, and best practices across IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of IT services, including performance monitoring and scalability planning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide documentation and training to internal teams as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma from a recognized college in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Azure Services.
- Experience with SD-WAN network architecture and design.
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification.
- Strong knowledge of current server, virtualization, network, cloud, and workstation technology.
- Knowledge of security and disaster recovery best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or business administration.
- 10+ years of experience managing and supporting a core infrastructure team in an enterprise environment.
- Azure Foundations certification.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
