**Description**:
Reena is actively recruiting passionate and dedicated **Part-Time
- Recreational Support Workers (RSW)** for our **Fall 2025 Community Outreach Programs**. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting inclusion, independence, and personal growth through recreational and community-based programming.

This is an excellent opportunity for **college and university students** seeking part-time employment with potential for long-term growth within Reena.

**Term**: October 19th, 2025 - December 12th, 2025

**Schedule**:

- **Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM**:

- **Monday - 5:00 - 9:00 PM**:

- **Tuesday - 4:30 - 8:00 PM**:

- **Wednesday
- 5:00 - 8:30 PM**:

- **Thursday - 5:00 - 9:00 PM**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their needs of daily living
- Design and implement recreational based activities
- Reinforce social and life skills
- Participate in mandatory meetings and training

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
- Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory.
- Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)

**Qualification**
- Background related to child care, education, social work, psychology, social services, child and youth worker
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Flexible and adaptive to change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children and youth.

Reena is a non-profit organization that promotes dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth and community inclusion for people with diverse abilities within a framework of Jewish culture and values.

Reena was established in 1973 by parents of children with developmental disabilities as a practical alternative to institutions. In 1977, Reena began receiving funding from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services and since that time has grown to provide support for hundreds of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Reena offers a variety of services including: residential support, respite programs, counselling, therapy and advocacy.
