We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Marketing team as a** Marketing Manager
- Brand.** Reporting to the Director, Brand Management, Marketing Communications & Research, in this role you will be responsible for developing the brand strategy and executing the advertising and media plan for Home Hardware’s promotional, brand and product campaigns.

**What you’ll do**:

- Manage consumer centric strategies and flawless execution of multi-channel marketing plans in support of promotional, Masterbrand and product campaigns, including end-to-end campaign development from ideation, media planning and creative development to execution, as well as analysis and post-mortem reporting.
- Develop and execute marketing communication strategies that build brand health and help to deliver against objectives and financial metrics for Home Hardware. Work closely with Merchandising to understand category priorities and growth goals.
- Manage the brand positioning utilizing consumer insights, point of sale data, first party research, and market/industry data. Support the definition of the core target segments for our banner brands.
- Partner with internal marketing channel partners and creative teams, external creative and media agencies to develop breakthrough omni-channel campaigns that achieve cohesive and consistent messaging across customer touchpoints to drive awareness, consideration, and sales.
- Work with the Analytics team and Media team to measure the effectiveness of all campaigns and provide insights, recommendations and implement changes in the spirit of continuous improvement.
- Manage key Masterbrand messaging and content for all consumer touchpoints across owned, earned, and paid media to ensure consistency across all channels and optimize customer reach and impressions. Manage the creation and continual evolution of the Masterbrand guidelines.
- Provide marketing support to various business unit stakeholders including Merchandising and Dealers, to help drive awareness, drive sales, and increase market penetration.
- Manage brand marketing tactics related to national sports partnerships, contracted charity support and Dealer recruitment.
- Develop and launch marketing programs on time and on budget, as well as plan smart “Test and learns” to ensure we are continuously learning the most effective ways to drive traffic and sales.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business and/or Communications.
- Eight to ten years of marketing experience, managing complex marketing campaigns and projects.
- Experience with retail brand management considered an asset.
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (channel marketing, merchandising, store operations) and external stakeholders (creative and media agencies).
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Acrobat, etc.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and react to changing situations; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to turn data into insights and actions.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required.
- Bilingual in both English and French considered an asset.
- Previous home improvement industry knowledge would be an asset.
