Northern Lights Public Schools invites applications for the following position: S2526-06 Clinical Psychologist Northern Lights Public Schools is seeking a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Clinical Psychologist. The Clinical Psychologist will serve as part of the Student Support Services Team. The successful applicant will provide a wide range of effective diagnostic, treatment, educational and consultation psychological services to students in our schools by working collaboratively with the Division team, students, families, administration, educational staff, and external agencies. They will provide psychological expertise and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support social emotional well-being and learning strategies for students and their families as well as individual and broad based support for teachers and school teams. Duties of the Clinical Psychologist will include: Work within a designated region and/or across regions to provide supportWork in collaboration with the Divisional team and under the direction of a PrincipalWork independently with studentsWork with a particular student or a group of students within the class or in a specialized programProvide programming assistance to students with social and/or behavioral needsTravel to and work with multiple schools and school settings within a specified area Preference will be given to applicants who have:Masters Degree in Psychology, clinical focusEligible for membership with the appropriate professional body in AlbertaBetween 1-3 years experience in child, youth and family counseling an assetExperience in clinical assessment and therapy an assetStrong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills Strong written and oral communication skills Valid drivers license How to Apply: Interested applicants are required to create and complete all sections of their portfolio through the 'Apply On-Line' link on our website, in the employment section.
