**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
**- Report to Operations Manager**
- Be a proactive, energetic leader with abilities to motivate and persuade change.
- Provide and maintain a safe workplace for all the team members.
- Make sure all the team members have the proper PPE and adhering to the GMP rules and regulations.
- Lead, manage and maintain a positive environment focusing on Lean Manufacturing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise employees in a fast manufacturing/production environment
- Maintain and measure production levels as specified on daily schedules
- Responsible for maintaining the food safety and implementing the food defense plan and ensuring the consistency of quality of product and packaging processes.
- Ensure employees have resources needed to do their job
- Process improvements in sub-assembly, assembly, and material handling.
- Training and performance measurement of new and existing employees.
- Production line balancing, standardized work, and cross-training of employees
- Involvement with product introduction to floor/assembly lines
- Fix and repair packaging machine and do CIP and SIP
- Scheduling and approving the timesheets for the full time and temporary workers.
- Coordinate workflow with other departments and shifts.
- Other related duties as assigned

**EDUCATION/TRAINING**:

- Courses in Operations Management, Supervision, Leadership or related assets.
- Lead Manufacturing training and thinking outside of the box is required.
- Technical knowledge - technologist, electronics, process control would be an asset.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Supervision in a Manufacturing/Production environment
- Experience with team building, and continuous improvement tools

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
