Meter Assembly Technician

**Position Summary**: This position is accountable for the quality of metering and sub-metering equipment assembled and installed while also supporting various warehouse activities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Splicing Current Transformer cable harnesses
- Test Current Transformer cable assemblies
- Assembly of metering and all related equipment to support Installations, Operations and Engineering
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Assist meter lab staff in preparation and inspection of outgoing equipment
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Support warehouse activities including deliveries and inventory counts
- Implement and identify needs for improvement by conveying it to the senior personnel, so that quality of products is maintained
**Qualifications**:
- High school graduate
- Strong communication skills (reading, writing, etc.)
- Practical hands-on aptitude
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools
- Valid Ontario Class G license
