**Cloud Infrastructure & Security Manager** | Niricson Software Inc.

**About Us**

**About the role**

As a modern data analytics company, Niricson is equally a physical as much as it is a digital entity. As the Cloud Infrastructure & Security Manager, you are the architect and owner of the platform. In this role, you will identify, design, and implement reference cloud architectures and best practices to support internal teams, & third-party organizations. Additionally, you will run the company's cloud and technology program - a program that you will continually evolve and refine based on latest industry standards to protect Niricson and customer data and assets. Your customers range from tech-savvy engineer leads to business customers - all of whom you work with to ingest inbound data, share access to Niricson dashboards, and safely archive according to data policies.

**Required Qualifications**
- MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux & Linux scripting, Infrastructure as Code.
- 5+ years of experience designing & building scalable and high-availability networks.
- 5+ years of experience/knowledge of cloud security topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Present technical solutions to C-level customer audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, clear communications, and technical documentation.
- Maniacal attention to detail.
- Must be based in the Greater Vancouver, BC area.

**Nice-to-Haves**
- Core understanding of AWS' Well-Architected principles and tools.
- Experience with Elastic Container Service (ECS), and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- Other cloud experience and/or certifications. AWS Preferred.
- Experience with projects in the Geospatial Information Systems field.
- Knowledge and understanding of digital image processing.
