Project Coordinator

R.S. Foundation Systems Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our construction management team.
In this vital role, the Project Coordinator is ultimately responsible for following the direction of the above management throughout the full job cycle, from estimating to ensuring jobs are performed as planned, on budget, and that we are paid for them.

Clear, direct, and adequate communication between all parties involved in a project (Superintendent, shop manager, engineers, clients, public, etc.) is essential to accomplishing success.
**GENERAL**
1. Work Hours Required - 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. The odd weekend work request may be required.

18. Understanding blueprints and shop drawings
19. Build your Team
**ESTIMATING**
1. Site visits with the lead estimator/ field staff
2. Source pricing for equipment materials and resources
3. Reviewing all specifications, geotechnical information, and drawings
a. Ensuring that nothing gets missed
4. Sourcing the best designs with upper management, always consider value-added approaches to projects.
5. Review/ Coordinate projects through bidding software.
a. Fulfill deadlines set out by upper management
6. Quotations
a. Takeoffs are done on time when delegated
b. Quotations are sent on time when delegated
c. Follow-ups on quotations sent - helping improve future quotations
7. Double-checking takeoffs and information gathered for estimates to ensure all is adequate and correct.
**PROJECT COORDINATING**
1. Coordinating all aspects of the projects
2. Be engaged with the execution of the projects with the entire team, setting the team up with the proper documentation that is delegated to ensure all specifications, design, intent is met
3. Contract Coordination
a. Creating schedules, advising management when the schedule is increasing or decreasing
b. Ensuring that all documents are provided to the field team from the contract expectations
c. Review and familiarize yourself with the contract for each project.
d. Paying attention to submittals, ensuring all is covered.
4. Overseeing RFI/ RCO/ CO daily
a. Constantly and continuously tracking extra costs, scope creep and schedule implications and informing client of the same
b. Placing all documentation for RFI/RCO/CO in the selected folders.
5. Constantly communicating with all parties involved with the project
a. Weekly execution plan
b. Daily follow ups with the General Superintendent, Coordinator and Foreman
c. Ensuring all documentation is in place on server and job file
i. RFI/RCO/CO
ii. Sub trades Daily’s
iii. Suppliers receipts
6. Scheduling
a. Discussing with the General Superintendent, Coordinator and Foreman schedule
7. Payment
a. Assisting the project management team with billing summaries, and ensuring deadlines are met
8. Project close out
a. Submitting permit close out when required
b. Proving the client with installation reports
c. Engineer final sign-off
**CLIENT RELATIONS**
1. Maintaining a good relationship with clients
2. Informing the clients as to how the system will be installed, time frames and when something goes wrong.
3. Treating existing clients as if they are the person who will give you the next big job.
**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT**
