As a **Food Services Clerk**, reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will perform a variety of clerical tasks within the food services function. This position requires excellent customer service skills, auditing skills, attention to detail and is an essential contributor to excellent patient experience.

**Your work will include**:

- Receive and fill any new menu as per request logged
- Check assembled tray against meal ticket to ensure order is as submitted
- Compare tickets to record. Contact Units where there are any gaps to ensure clear on requirements. Confirm no duplicates.
- Call the Emergency department to determine number and type of meal trays required
- Ensure clarity for trayline staff - name printed at bottom, along with any special notes/instructions, colour code special diet menus according to legend
- Temperature check food, beverages and record. Maintain records
- Print inpatient record and update meal tickets; modify production schedule
