Bingemans is in the business of providing Grand Experiences

**Convention Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the department as directed. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Conference Centre and for keeping all facilities in a clean and safe state for our customer’s enjoyment.**

**What will you be doing**:

- Work with and supervise housekeeping and convention services attendants.
- Organize all layouts for indoor and outdoor set-ups.
- Ensure that all rooms and functions are complete and ready in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of conference and recreation centres.
- Ensure that tables, chairs, stages, moveable walls are kept in good working condition and returned to their appropriate storage place.
- Set up poles and drapery for trade shows as well as show services.
- Ensure the proper placement of AV equipment and that it is ready for use.
- Perform other duties as required.

**What We're Looking For?**
- Relevant work experience considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing/walking for an extended amount of time.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Must be consistent in making sure that detail is followed when setting up rooms.
- Ability to handle constant changes to satisfy the customer's needs.
- Decision making abilities.
- Leadership qualities for supervising work crews.
- Valid Class “G” Driver’s License.
- Valid First Aid Certificate

**This is a part-time position. Hours vary depending on business needs day/evening/overnight and weekend shifts required.
