We are currently recruiting for casual employees for kitchen shifts. Additional shift premiums are paid for Evenings, Nights, and Weekends.

Duties include:

- Assisting with meals for residents
- Assisting the cook in preparing foods from scratch
- Serving 3 meals and 3 snacks daily in a professional manner
- Cleaning, sanitizing and organization of kitchen, residents rooms and common areas
- Screening employees, visitors and contractors
- Assisting residents as needed
- Various other tasks as required

Qualifications:

- Must enjoy working with seniors
- Must be available for evening, and night shifts including weekdays and weekends
- Must be available to work with short notice
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience handling food considered an asset
- First Aid
- Food Safe training may be considered an asset
- **Must** be able to lift up to 50lbs
- **MUST Have Clean** Vulnerable Sector Check
- Barrhead and District Social Housing Association operates licensed supportive living facilities. All mandates implemented by Alberta Health are applicable and employees must adhere to them. **During outbreaks employees are required to wear masks and eye protection.**
