Barrhead and District Social Housing Association provides safe, affordable, quality housing for the well-being and independence of residents and tenants.

We are currently recruiting for a Casual Housekeeper. Hours of work are typically 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. and include **weekdays** and **weekends**. Additional shift premium provided for all work on weekends.

Duties include:

- Providing a safe, sanitary environment, which is free of hazards to health
- Ensuring that each resident's room is clean while maintaining the resident's right to privacy and respect for personal property
- Bed and bathroom linen changed once a week or as needed
- Public bathrooms cleaned daily or as needed and common areas as assigned
- Laundry, dusting, mopping, sweeping, empty garbage, sanitizing
- Ensuring rooms are safe and secure
- Assisting residents as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Must enjoy working with seniors
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- First Aid training may be considered an asset
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- **Clean** criminal record check
- Barrhead and District Social Housing Association operates licensed supportive living facilities. All mandates implemented by Alberta Health are applicable and employees must adhere to them. **During outbreaks employees are required to wear masks and eye protection.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $18.87 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
