**We are currently seeking a full-time Lumber Yard Associate.**

This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service by providing efficient and accurate loading and unloading of transactions relating to lumbering.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Load and unload materials, taking all safety precautions.
- Maintain cleanliness in the yard.
- Assist customers in handling large and heavy items.
- Restock inventory when stock levels are getting low.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Attend store meetings, training sessions as required.
- Work on additional duties, special projects and assignments as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Capability to safely lift/move materials weighing up to 100lbs.
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to understand customer requirements.
- Forklift certification and experience is an asset.
