Langley, Canada Global Mining Products Full time

Global Mining Products is a **Langley, BC**-based _off-highway wheel and rim _**manufacturer**_seeking a **warehouse worker** to join our shipping team.

Applicants **must have** at least **1-year** of experience in an _**industrial / manufacturing **_facility, and **possesses a valid forklift certification or at least 1 -2 years of forklift experience**.

Applicants **must live within 30 minutes** of **our location** and have access to **reliable transportation**.

Hours: Monday to Friday; 7:30AM - 4PM or 8:00AM - 4:30PM

**Job Duties**
- **Order picking, packaging **and **palletizing** of customer shipments.
- **Assembly **of final products for shipping.
- **Receiving**, **counting **and **labelling **products.
- **Loading** / **unloading **trucks and containers.
- **Staging work orders **to the Production floor.
- Assist with **equipment maintenance**.
- Maintaining a **safe**, **clean**, **tidy workplace.**:

- Providing **general labour assistance** when needed, such as helping the paint department with shot blasting and belt sanding.

**Job Qualifications**
- **SDCB forklift certification ** OR **1 - 2 years** demonstrated **experience**.
- _At least_ **1 year experience **in an _industrial / manufacturing_ facility.

**Job Requirements**
- Capable of **lifting 50 pounds**.
- Comfortable working around **large**, **heavy steel components **in a **noisy **manufacturing **environment**.
- Capable of **working outdoors **year-round in **varying weather **conditions.
- Ability to **work independently **with **mínimal supervision**.
- Ability to work to **tight deadlines **and **quickly alternate tasks **based on priorities.
- Capable of **using basic measuring tools **and **understanding **simple **technical drawings**.
- Good **listening** **skills**.
- Good **spoken **and **written English**.
- **Punctuality **and excellent **attendance**.

**Bonus Experience**
- Certification or experience with **cranes** and **rigging**:

- **Narrow Aisle Forklift **experience
