**Your tasks at a glance**
- Ophthalmic work up/patient screening/testing, Medical, Visual Acuity, Intraocular Pressure Assessment, Color Vision, Instilling drops, etc.
- Assisting during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
- Answering patient’s questions and ensure the best service.
- Working closely with Ophthalmologists.
- Conducting pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients on Visual Field testing, Retina Imaging and Anterion.
- Updating the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
- Confirming by phone post-operative appointments.
- Cross-training to work in other clinic positions, such as Receptionist.

- You have excellent communication skills in English.
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of Accuro systems is an asset).
- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).
- **Schedule**: You have flexible work availability Monday to Friday (8:00 AM-4:30 PM), and Saturdays on rotation.

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
