Job Mission
This position contributes to the company’s success by providing key knowledge management and training for the production floor and cross-departmental related operations.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Deliver training through various classroom sessions to production employees in all areas of the floor (batching, filling, and packaging).
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees at the U.S. facility.
- Coordinate with the support operators (skilled operators assisting in training) and production supervisors for on the floor training of all production employees.
- Teach in a variety of environments including classroom settings and traditional on-the-job training.
- Create and update training materials, including one-point lessons, PowerPoint presentations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all departments within the organization.
- Document training experiences accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide training records of knowledge transfer concerning key practices and job procedures.
- Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Auditing current operators and procedures to ensure adherence to standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as an SME in all areas of production & D365 (ERP system), ensuring seamless integration and the continued training of our ways of working.
- Promote process mastery of floor employees through coaching, teaching, and support.
- Coordinate meetings with all skilled operators and packaging staff on training related to procedural updates including job positions, D365, HACCP, Quality, and GMP.
- Be a positive role model and maintain an open mind towards providing feedback, support, and guidance to the Skjodt-Barrett team.
- Part of the leadership team aimed at managing all processes, ways of working, and team members to enhance operational efficiency through multiple departments within the organization. Demonstrate exceptional leadership.
- Travel to the Ontario facility to assist in training staff on updated processes and systems, ensuring alignment of operations for both sites.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to standardize manufacturing processes and systems across the Indy and Ontario sites.
- Backup support for Production Supervisors:

- Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
- Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel; establish priorities, monitor progress, revise schedules, resolve problems, and report processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensure the operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answer questions and respond to requests.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in leadership as well as training and development.
- Strong understanding of process and system standardization.
- Ability to travel internationally between Indy and Ontario sites as needed.
- Proficiency in creating and updating training materials.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountability and multiple internal customers.
- Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
