**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
- Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring that products are displayed neatly and are easily accessible to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions and inventory tracking.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective customer interaction.
- Experience with upselling techniques is a plus, as well as familiarity with product demos.
- Proficient phone etiquette is important for handling customer inquiries effectively.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$21.46 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
