**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estimator / Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Our company is a well-established Disaster Restoration firm operating the North Bay and surrounding area. We respond 24 hours, 7 days a week for all types of insurance claims and work in emergency mitigation and reconstruction in residential and commercial situations.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for attending the site, providing a detailed estimate, job scope and meeting insurance company timelines and protocols. In this front-line role, you will use Xactimate and Symbility software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, wind, mold restoration projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee claims from original assignment through mitigation, estimation and reconstruction.
- Coordinate with insurance company representatives and clients.
- Conduct site visits and generate precise estimates using Xactimate or Symbility software.
- Assist in securing new work by leveraging existing contacts and networking.
- Assist in complaint resolution and keep open communication with Adjusters on all files.
- Must be available for on call rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding pricing.
- Highly disciplined, computer literate and able to keep detailed project notes.
- Experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of project management principles.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Xactimate and Symbility is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Salary is commensurate with experience. The position comes with a vehicle allowance, gas card, laptop, and smartphone.
