**General Accountability**:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor of Welding Department is responsible for the development and implementation of quality fabrication of weldments.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Assist in the implementation of welding/fitting prototypes.
- Oversee and maintain CWB documentation/employee certifications.
- Coordinate expediting activities with lead hands ensuring customer on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate rework/repair activities on non-conforming components.
- Monitor and train welding personnel
- Coordinate weld destruct as per documented procedures.
- Interpret technical specifications and machinery adjustments and selection of appropriate materials. Must be able to interpret drawings and weld symbols.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Develop programs to focus employees on improving fabricated product quality.
- Investigate and implement welding improvement initiatives such as wire/gas etc.
- Audit Welding Department processes; manual and robotic procedures.
- Responsible for 5S

**Health & Safety**
- Ensure/maintain high standards of employee safety and housekeeping.
- Comply with the rules setout in the Health & Safety Manual and in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act (Section 25/27/28 OH&S Act).

**Education/Skills & Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing/welding/fabrication environment in the metal/machinery industry.**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
