**The Position**:
Neelands Group Limited is searching for a Cable Technician to join our team at the Burlington, Ontario location. This is a regular, full-time union position with a full union compensation package.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and install LVT communication cable
- Terminate and secure cables
- Read and understand Blueprints
- Verification of system
- Installation of related components
- Understand and advise management of inventory levels
- Stock transfer to specific job
- Follow direction of Project Manager
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Mentor and direct junior Cable installer
- Interact with Site supervisor.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in the HVAC/Refrigeration controls, telephone, alarm fields
- 2-4 years’ experience in one of these fields or similar is an asset but not necessary
- Work in the construction industry
