Tek Systems Group Inc. is an amazing, team based, multi-systems integrator working in the fields of Security (Alarms, Cameras, Access Control) as well as Intercoms/Telephone entry, Automated Door Operators, Home Automation, Audio/Video, Networking and Communications, Nurse Call and other low voltage industries.

We endeavor to provide a solid work environment for our technical team, with a support staff available to assist with questions while techs are working in the field.

We are looking for a technician experienced in the security equipment field, eager to join a strong multi-faceted company covering a wide range of services and technologies.

Techs are expected to use both independent knowledge and experience as well as the tools and support systems provided, whether they be by the company or manufacturer support lines to troubleshoot, address and resolve situations.

With at least 3-5 years of background working technical service in the field, we are looking for a tech with knowledge and experience with assessing, troubleshooting and resolving issues with security equipment, with a willingness to learn new systems and develop new strengths, to join an experienced team. Commercial installation experience would be an asset.

Experience wiring, installing, programming, testing and commissioning Security alarm, Security Camera and Card Access Systems

Strong knowledge and efficiency telephone entry and intercom systems.

Experience on both existing sites and new build locations, will be required to work on site in new construction and retrofit settings.

Ability to on site test, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with complete and active systems and equipment.

Familiarity with A/V, Home Automation and Networking equipment would be a benefit.

Able to effectively and accurately run, terminate label and test cabling.

Strong cable management skills and ability to properly and efficiently wire up a rack for a 5000 + square foot home.

Understanding and experience working from ladders, elevated platforms and lifts.

Great communication skills and ability to work well with customers, co-workers and other trades and contractors on site.

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
