Key Marketing Finance position responsible for accounting, compliance, planning, control, and reporting of Marketing and Coupon Spend for Reckitt Benckiser (Canada) Inc - Hygiene Division.
- Provide direct support to the local Brand Marketing team, Market Research, ECOMM & Digital Transformation teams in the forecasting (data entry) and reporting of marketing spend within the Marketing Budget tracking tool at detail program level. Including compliance checks on contracts, raising purchase requisitions within Ariba and reconciliation of vendor invoices/SOA’s as needed.
- Conduct monthly meetings with Category and Brand Managers to ensure the Consumer Marketing expenditure system accurately reflects the marketing investment.
- Assist with corporate planning and quarterly forecasting exercises by providing best available projection of consumer marketing activities for both profit & loss and balance sheet. Provide ad hoc projections of interim monthly activity, as needed.
- Owner of setting up or updating marketing vendors within our MDGS Tool
- Assist in the management, support, administration and training for the Allocadia (Marketing) database tool, ensuring functionality, usability, data integrity, system upgrades (as needed) and data interfaces.
- Ensure compliance of global finance policy as it relates to all marketing spend reporting.
- Support and enable the monthly SAP financial accounting process as it relates to all matters of consumer marketing activity. Assist with variance analysis of both profit & loss and balance sheet account movements. Ensure the adequacy of consumer marketing accruals including potential risk or opportunity.
- Key contact for marketing service providers on all matters of financial interaction including invoice payments, reconciliation of activity, contractual compliance, and other business matters.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports. Develop and enhance financial report formats that assist in financial closing and for various analytical purposes
- Special projects and analysis, as needed including audit prep.

**Requirement**:

- 2-3 years’ work experience within Finance or Accounting
- SAP General Ledger experience required
- Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills to allow for mutual understanding of problems / business needs and development of cooperative solutions.
- Ability to make and influence decisions, multi-task and prioritize assignments to deliver deadlines.
- Allocadia, Ariba, Fusion experience considered an asset (not required)
