**Fish Department Manager**

**Summary**:
The role of the Fish Department Manager is to effectively supervise a work team to ensure excellence in customer service, while offering a wide variety of fresh, top-quality products, in line with Adonis Group standards. The Fishmonger must manage departmental operations in line with store sales targets, while complying with government food hygiene and workplace safety standards.

**Specific Tasks**:
Team Management:

- Ensure compliance with personal hygiene and dress code standards for team members.
- Follow-up on training and development activities
- Complete and submit evaluation forms
- Scheduling staff according to needs and budget
- Activities related to staff recruitment
- Customer service:

- Ensure excellent customer service within the department
- Manage customer complaints

Fish Department:

- Good knowledge of the various products offered
- Establish and execute department merchandising plans
- Maintain proper inventory to minimize under/over stocks
- Follow-up on merchandise receipts and order accuracy
- Be able to perform different fish cuts and preparation/cleaning methods
- Respect all store food safety procedures and follow up with the team
- Complete the manager's daily rounds
- Related duties

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- 2 years' experience in team management
- 2 years' relevant experience in a grocery store
- Good knowledge of products sold

**Relations**:
The Fish Department Manager communicates with the store manager. He or she also liaises with the managers of other departments and with members of his or her team.
