Position Information:
**Qualifications**:
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical Terminology
- Knowledge of Cerner chemotherapy scheduling system (Powerchart Oncology)
- Knowledge of Cerner electronic patient chart (Powerchart)
- 2 years’ experience in busy hospital or ambulatory clinic ward clerk setting
- Knowledge of Cerner patient registration system
- Computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Personal Health Information Protection Act
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Knowledge of systemic chemotherapy regimens
- Commitment to future changes in unit philosophies and ongoing continuing education
- Self-motivated.
- Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
- Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization
(2 or more doses).
