**Job Title: Product Owner / Product Manager**

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a **Product Owner / Product Manager** with a strong background in **SaaS (Software-as-a-Service)** products to join our remote team in Canada.

**Mandatory Requirement**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define and communicate the **product vision, roadmap, and goals** aligned with business strategy.
- Translate business requirements into **clear, actionable user stories** and acceptance criteria.
- Write detailed **functional specifications and technical requirements** for development teams.
- Manage and **prioritize the product backlog**, ensuring alignment with customer and business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with **engineering, design, QA, and operations** teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Lead sprint ceremonies - planning, reviews, and retrospectives - to support continuous improvement.
- Conduct **market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions** to drive product innovation.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure product releases are well-coordinated and meet quality standards.
- Analyze **product performance metrics and user behavior** to identify improvement opportunities.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **10+ years of experience** as a Product Owner or Product Manager (preferably in SaaS environments).
- Deep understanding of **SaaS architecture, deployment models, and customer lifecycle**.
- Strong knowledge of **Agile / Scrum methodologies** and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools like **JIRA, Confluence, Aha, or similar platforms**.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical thinker with a data-driven mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively in **remote, distributed teams**.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Background in **B2B or B2C SaaS product management**.
- Experience working with **API-driven products**, integrations, or microservices.
- Familiarity with **UX/UI principles** and collaboration with design teams.
- Product management certification (e.g., **CSPO, PSPO, PMP**) is a plus
