As a Business Analyst, reporting to the Business Development Coordinator for Golf, you will conduct thorough analyses and provide strategic recommendations to enhance business performance and achieve organizational goals. You will collaborate with the Calgary Golf Operations (CGO) Leadership Team to gather data, develop solutions, and present findings, while recommending frameworks and tools to solve complex business challenges. Additionally, you will interpret performance indicators, identify key relationships between activities and financial outcomes, and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue and expand market reach for Golf. Primary duties include:

- Identify, prioritize, and monitor Golf data collection needs while developing a network of industry peers to foster information exchange.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to support the Golf Course Operations (GCO) Leadership Team in responding to customer needs and optimizing business strategies.
- Create analysis and provide strategic recommendations to the GCO Leadership Team, supporting policy development, workflow improvements, and achievement of business goals.
- Collaborate with the CGO Leadership Team to define insights from data and research, recommend frameworks and tools for new business opportunities, and optimize a recoveries-focused business model.
- Plan, organize, and maintain a reporting framework to distribute performance and business indicators, including pricing analysis, expense data, and industry benchmarks.
- Assemble and disseminate strategic insights and reports, creating customized tools to effectively communicate findings to various audiences, including leadership teams, analysts, staff, and external partners.
- Lead assigned projects from initiation to completion, manage budgets, schedules, and client communication to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business goals.
- Manage and optimize existing technology platforms, ensuring updates and improvements to enhance customer experience and revenue generation for the GCO.
- Collaborate with internal divisions and external vendors to address the impact of golf software on operations, providing annual status updates on performance, issues, and required enhancements.

**Qualifications**
- A completed 2 year diploma in Business, Business Analysis, Recreation/Sport Management/Golf Course Administration related disciple or equivalent as well as competency in core aspects and techniques of business analysis and at least 5 years of relevant and practical experience; OR
- A degree as well as competency in core aspects and techniques of business analysis, and at least 3 years of relevant and practical experience.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, presentation and documentation is required.
- Access to personal vehicle for occasional business use is required.
- Success in this position requires strong problem-solving, market analysis (including identification of trends, benchmarking, and performance measurement), leadership, interpersonal and advanced communication skills.
