**Description**:
The Milling and 3D Printing Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printers, milling machines and any related equipment and software designed for manufacturing of the dental prosthetics. This role will be responsible for identifying the need for equipment repairs and software updates while developing, maintaining, and improving processes/workflows.

If you have a Mechanical Engineering experience (or equivalent), together with strong passion for 3D printing and milling, we want to hear from you

**General Responsibilities**:

- Operates and maintains milling machines and 3D printers
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task
- Review milling and printing strategies to ensure precision and efficiency, adjusting settings as necessary
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment
- Monitors production
- Maintains inventory of materials required for production and maintenance of systems
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation and department
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

**Qualifications**:

- A Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent an asset
- Practical understanding of various manufacturing methods such as CNC machining and 3D printing
- Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
- Working knowledge of safety protocols
- Self-motivated and takes ownership of the role and responsibilities
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in math
- Basic computer skills

**Description**:
Le technicien en fraisage et impression 3D est responsable de l’exploitation et de la maintenance des imprimantes 3D, des fraiseuses et de tout équipement et logiciel connexe conçu pour la fabrication des prothèses dentaires. Ce rôle sera chargé d’identifier le besoin de réparations d’équipement et de mises à jour logicielles tout en développant, en maintenant et en améliorant les processus / flux de travail.

Si vous avez un diplôme en génie mécanique (ou l’équivalent), ainsi qu’une forte passion pour l’impression 3D et le fraisage, nous voulons avoir de vos nouvelles.

- Exploite et entretient des fraiseuses et des imprimantes 3D
- Sélectionne la machine et les paramètres appropriés pour une tâche donnée
- Revoir les stratégies de fraisage et d’impression pour assurer la précision et l’efficacité, en ajustant les paramètres si nécessaire
- Planifie la séquence appropriée des tâches pour terminer l’affectation
- Surveille la production
- Maintient l’inventaire des matériaux nécessaires à la production et à la maintenance des systèmes
- Vérifie les résultats pour l’assurance qualité et documente ou élimine les défauts
- Identifie le besoin et effectue l’entretien de la machine et les réparations mineures
- Maintient un poste de travail et un département sûrs et propres
- Contribue à l’effort d’équipe en accomplissant les tâches connexes au besoin

**Qualifications**:

- Diplôme d’ingénieur en mécanique ou équivalent un atout
- Compréhension pratique de diverses méthodes de fabrication telles que l’usinage CNC et l’impression 3D
- Expérience de travail avec des machines-outils ou de l’assemblage mécanique
- Connaissance pratique des protocoles de sécurité
