Senior Dental Technician – Removables

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Salary: $35-$45 plus incentives

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Dental Technician – Removables to lead our denture department. This position combines hands-on technical expertise at the bench with leadership responsibilities, including quality control and client communication. The ideal candidate is a strong removable prosthetics technician who can guide a team, ensure top-quality results, and build lasting relationships with clinicians.

This is a key leadership role for someone who is both technically skilled and confident in managing workflow, mentoring staff, and maintaining direct contact with dental professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the denture/removable department, overseeing daily operations and workflow.
  • Perform hands-on technical work at the bench when needed (full and partial dentures, relines, repairs, implant-supported prosthetics).
  • Conduct quality control to ensure all cases meet both client expectations and lab standards.
  • Act as the primary point of communication with dentist clients, handling case discussions, adjustments, and technical questions.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and support to junior technicians.
  • Collaborate with management to improve processes, maintain efficiency, and implement best practices.
  • Assist with complex/advanced removable cases as required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in removable prosthetics/denture fabrication.
  • Strong hands-on skills in full/partial dentures, implant-supported removables, relines, and repairs.
  • Experience in department leadership, case review, or quality control.
  • Must be bilingual – English and French (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clinicians and colleagues.
  • Ability to balance technical work with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM removable workflows is an asset but not required.

À propos du poste:
Nous recherchons un Technicien Dentaire Senior – Amovibles pour diriger notre département de prothèses amovibles. Ce poste combine une expertise technique au banc avec des responsabilités de gestion, incluant le contrôle qualité et la communication directe avec les clients.

Le candidat idéal est un prothésiste expérimenté capable de superviser une équipe, d'assurer la qualité des travaux et d'entretenir des relations de confiance avec les praticiens.

Responsabilités principales:
  • Diriger le département des prothèses amovibles, en supervisant les opérations quotidiennes et le flux de travail.
  • Effectuer du travail technique au banc lorsque nécessaire (prothèses complètes et partielles, regarnissages, réparations, prothèses sur implants).
  • Réaliser le contrôle qualité afin de garantir que tous les cas respectent les standards du laboratoire et les attentes des clients.
  • Servir de principal interlocuteur des clients dentistes, pour les consultations de cas, ajustements et questions techniques.
  • Encadrer, former et soutenir les techniciens juniors.
  • Collaborer avec la direction pour améliorer les processus, maintenir l'efficacité et mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques.
  • Participer à la réalisation de cas complexes ou avancés.
  • Profil recherché:
    • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en fabrication de prothèses amovibles.
    • Compétences solides en prothèses complètes/partielles, réparations, regarnissages et prothèses sur implants.
    • Expérience en supervision de département, contrôle qualité ou validation de cas.
    • Bilingue – français et anglais (oral et écrit).
    • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en relations interpersonnelles avec les praticiens et les collègues.
    • Capacité à combiner travail technique et responsabilités de supervision.
    • La connaissance des flux numériques/CFAO pour les prothèses amovibles est un atout.
