**Psychologist**
MindFit is seeking a compassionate, energetic, ambitious, and highly-motivated clinical, school or neuro-psychologist to work with children, adolescents, adults and/or families.
**_About MindFit_**
MindFit is a one-of-a-kind psychology clinic - or what we prefer to call a mental health “gym” - with expert “Coaches” (i.e., psychologists), specialized “Programs” (i.e., treatment plans) and personalized “Workouts” (i.e., treatment sessions) for getting and staying in emotional shape. Just like a physical gym welcomes people of all ages and abilities with a common goal of getting and staying physically healthy, MindFit is designed to be accessible and inviting to anyone seeking to improve their emotional well-being.
MindFit offers comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, adults, parents and families for a wide range of challenges (e.g., anxiety, low mood, ADD/ADHD, challenging behaviours etc.) and currently specializes in the treatment of tics, Tourette’s Syndrome and repetitive behaviours (e.g., skin picking and hair pulling).
We are a forward thinking, technologically-savvy and innovative practice comprised of friendly and supportive staff.
- Qualifications_
- Completion of a PhD degree in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology and/or Neuropsychology from an APA and/or CPA-accredited university psychology program

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with families of various ethnicities and family compositions
- Excellent problem-solving, time-management, organization and communication skills
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn more about treatment for Tics/Tourette’s Syndrome and body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs)
**_Why Join MindFit?_**

**2. **Compassionate and Accessible Care**: At MindFit, we seek to ensure our Members (patients) feel supported, accepted, and valued - not because we are supposed to, but because we feel personally vested in their success. _We are looking for someone who is just as passionate about helping people as we are_
**4. **Cutting-Edge**:We are a forward-thinking, creative, and innovative practice. Everything from the language we use, to our online Member portal, to our Programs have been designed to be different and improve our quality of care. As an example, we are currently partnering with both a specialized neurology clinic to develop a virtual, rapid-access clinic and a children’s mental health organization in a rural community to offer care to underserviced youth and families.
