Clinical Psychologist

**Allied Psychological Services is a team of Psychologists, Psychological Associates and Mental Health professionals who provide a wide range of clinical services grounded in evidenced based, anti-oppressive, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual practice. We are a growing practice, and we are looking to add to our team.**

**The range of services include**
- **General Psychological and Psychotherapy Services. This **includes treatment and assessments for a range of issues (depression, anxiety, adjustment, trauma, personality disorders, anger, compulsive behaviours).
- **Motor Vehicle Accident and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)**We provide assessment and treatment services for individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents and workplace accidents
- **Anti-Oppressive/ Anti-Black Racism Psychotherapeutic Services **are led by Dr. Natasha Williams. For individuals who have been the victims of racial trauma we have a team of individuals who specialize in working from a trauma informed, anti-oppressive stance.
- **Parent Capacity Assessment Services **are led by Dr. Natasha Williams. We provide services for individuals who require comprehensive Parent Capacity Assessments for those dealing with the legal system as well as the Children’s Aid Societies
- **Forensic and high-risk behavioural services **are led by Dr. Sandra Jackson and Ms. Brandie Stevenson M.A. We provide services for adults and youth who are dealing with the legal system or are engaged in behaviours that are, or could, result in significant problems personally, in their relationships, at work or in the community. We provide a broad range of treatment, assessment and consolation services to federal and provincial corrections, police services, employers, group-homes/residential setting and more. These services can include but are not limited to court related matters, some child protection issues, evaluations for professional misconduct and/or discipline related issues, charges under the police act, threat assessments for schools/workplaces.

Allied Psychological Services is seeking to expand our team of Psychologists, Registered Psychotherapists, and Social Workers with relevant experience. We are also looking for students, trainees who are in the process of becoming registered with their respective College.

Our established multidisciplinary practice operates out of two offices, our main office in Midtown Toronto, minutes walk from the Eglinton subway station, and a branch office in Oakville. We also, have the ability to offer our Clinicians and Clients secure on-line services.

**Requirements**:

- Registered Clinical and/or Forensic Psychologist, Registered Psychotherapist currently licensed by and in good standing with their respective College.
- Individuals who haveclear direction on the path to become registered with CPO but will need supervision (Practicum, Internship placements, Students in an educational program looking to build experience and individuals seeking supervision towards autonomous practice)
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills as proven based on previous experience in a similar role and/or training through one’s training program.
- Ability and desire to work independently & collaboratively as a team in our inter-professional clinic, ultimately keeping the patient's goals in mind.
- Charismatic and able to empower patients to make positive choices.
- Solid communication & interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and self-motivated nature.
- Warm, approachable, and client-centered professional.
