GMI Wheels, a globally recognized, **Langley, BC**-based **mining** and **heavy equipment wheel manufacturer**, seeks a dynamic, driven Marketing Coordinator who’ll continue our successful momentum into new markets while helping improve our ability to retain and target our existing customer base.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for communicating GMI Wheels’ core values of **Quality**, **Service** and **Value** in all their materials and activities, **emphasizing our manufacturing expertise**, **technical knowledge**, and **safety focus** in an educational, approachable manner.

This role **uniquely blends B2B** and **B2C** approaches, with a customer base ranging from **independent contractors** to **international corporations**. The Coordinator must work effectively with our Management, Sales and Engineering departments to develop and maintain materials that address their wide array of inquiries.

This role **includes travel** to trade shows, company locations and customer sites. Applicants must be **able to travel**to the **US** and **internationally**.

**Responsibilities**
- Updating and creating brochures, catalogs, technical manuals, presentations, trade show materials and other marketing assets.
- Trade show planning, booth organization and participation.
- Assist with external communication such as editing and proofing documents from other departments.
- Assist with development and implementation of a CRM database within our ERP software, and collection of customer data for effective targeting and market segmentation.
- Collaboration with senior management on strategic planning and market research.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant diploma or degree (marketing, journalism, communications)
- 2 - 3 years marketing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to convey technical language in an understandable way
- Implementation of social media campaigns, creating quality, engaging posts
- Good knowledge of CRM systems and best practices for data gathering and segmentation, and championing its use
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good photography and video capture / editing skills
- Familiarity with industrial / B2B marketing or ability to learn quickly
- Familiarity with Wordpress, WPBakery Composer / Visual Composer, website analytics and retargeting methods
