We are looking for a Production Lead Hand to lead our Powder Coating operation on our Afternoon Shift **(4:30 PM - 11:30 PM)**. - Note: Must be comfortable in a Seasonally Hot (summertime only) environment as we have 5 industrial ovens running at one time._ You’ll be responsible for ensuring production remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. The each coating line consists of 8 people. **Availability**: Immediate **This position involves**: - Detail-oriented attention - Constant, Clear Communication, Supervision and Management of line workers - Strong Leadership - Execution on daily shift objectives - The goal is to ensure that the production process delivers products of great quality in a profitable manner. - Safety shoes are required. **Responsibilities** - Execute on daily objectives and communicate them to employees - Organize workflow by assigning tasks to line workers - Oversee and coach employees - Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance - Check production output according to specifications - Complete and submit reports on production progress - Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures - Enforce safety guidelines and company standards **Minimum Required Qualifications** - OSSD High School diploma - Proven track record as team leader in a manufacturing/production setting - Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tool - Able to maintain organized and clear production records - Excellent Organizational, leadership and Problem-solving skills - Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated with a results-driven approach with a "take charge" attitude - Forklift license an asset **_**We thank all applicants in advance for their interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted._** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $20.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay
