**Builder**

Unique Contract Interiors is a leading supplier of custom upholstery and furniture for commercial businesses

We are seeking a Builder to join our team. The Builder will be responsible for cutting and assembling our company’s manufactured furniture in a timely manner. It is essential the builder can carry out all responsibilities correctly to ensure efficiency and quality meets our standards for our clients. Key responsibilities, competencies and qualifications are as follows.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read, understand and follow shop drawings
- Cut furniture parts for assembly
- Laminate furniture parts as required
- Fabricate small-scale millwork items as required
- Operate CNC machine
- Maintain proper care of equipment
- Occasional travel to assist with project installations and site measurement verifications
- Maintain proper care of tools and work areas clean
- Other Duties and Responsibilities May Be Asked Upon

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Carpentry Knowledge
- Ability to Read a Tape Measure
- Ability to Use Power, Air and Hand Tools
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Communicate with Colleagues, Clients and Suppliers
- Read, Write & Speak English Clearly
- Positive Attitude, Motivated, & Willing to Learn

**Tools and Equipment Used**:

- Measuring Tape (Imperial & Metric)
- Power Saws
- Power Tools
- Air Tools
- Adhesives
- Hand Tools

The successfull applicant will be required to wear steel toe boots, eye protection and industrial gloves. A hard hat is optional but not required on the shop floor.

Pay: $19.50-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
