Reporting to an Assembly Team Leader and the Production Manager, the Assembler is responsible for assembling trusses according to standard work operating procedures
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Works with a Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order
- Assembles trusses in accordance with the company standard work operating procedures
- Regularly inspects and checks the quality of the work being performed as well as the quality of the materials and condition of the equipment, reporting any problems to the Team Leader
- Maintains a clean workstation throughout the shift, and especially cleaning up shortly before the end of the shift
- Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, accurate and careful manner
**Knowledge**:
- Experience in truss plant operation and assembly, framing or carpentry experience is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize, work productively and cooperate in a team environment.
- Strive toward developing new skills and embrace change.
- Actively participate in Huddles and offer continuous improvement ideas.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail oriented, accurate, safe

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
