**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Input and categorize daily business expenses into QuickBooks;
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date daily ledger;
- Assist the lead Bookkeeper with preparation for internal and external audits;
- Organize and maintain financial records and supporting documentation; and,
- To fulfill other related duties as directed by the Bookkeeper or Executive Director

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team, and maintain confidentiality
- Basic understanding of ledgers, journals, and standard bookkeeping and accounting practices;
- High attention to detail when entering and organizing financial data;
- Ability to meet deadlines, especially during audit preparation or month-end closing;
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential financial and client-related information with care and professionalism;
- Capable of maintaining clear, systematic financial records in both digital and paper formats; and,
- Able to communicate clearly with team members, including bookkeepers and administrative staff.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
