**Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact**
As part of the Kinectrics NCL team, provide support for various projects. This position is required to be at the project site. This position requires working closely with the project manager, engineering leads, project services personnel and contractors. A strong understanding of work break down structures is required, Field execution for modifications as well as planning and scheduling, forecasting and change control processes are also required.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Participate in the preparation of project costs reports.
- Lead execution of modifications in the field based on approved design changes.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining project schedules and cost control system and documentation for the project.
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Prepare and present project progress reports and status updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and action items.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports and cash flows.
- Monitor schedule float and critical path, person-hours and cost progress to establish trends and assist in cost forecasts.
- Initiate the preparation of estimates for contract scope changes.
- Review invoices against purchase orders and contracts for accuracy and certification of payments.
- Perform other duties as required.
**What You Need to Succeed**
- Completion of a 4-year university degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Requires highly effective skills in organization and planning.
- Detail and goal-oriented.
- Strong business computer skills.
- Experience of working in an engineering consulting environment.
- Training or qualifications in project management (e.g., PMP) is an asset.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience in project controls or field engineering work on EPC & EPCM type projects.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have demonstrated a high commitment to quality.
- Innovative, enthusiastic and ready to be part of our dynamic team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bruce Power Security Clearance is an asset
- A period of at least 4 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
This position is located at the Kinectrics office in Kincardine, ON. Occasional travel to the Kinectrics offices in Toronto, ON will be required.
