Service Delivery Representative ( Driver)

**Delivers and transports medical gas products and equipment to clients and institutions. Maintains safe operation of company vehicles and provides outstanding customer service. May involve teaching customers set-up and checking of equipment. The incumbent has the added responsibility of guiding, leading and training the driver team. The incumbent will carry out all responsibilities while promoting VitalAire's safety and quality practices.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Provides guidance and leadership to drivers and customer service team where applicable. Coordinates daily workload/scheduling of drivers and route assignments. Provide constructive input to the team and the Logistics Supervisor on the team's performance.**
- **Meets clients needs by delivering products according to daily schedule as required.**
- **Maintains safe vehicles, arranging for routine maintenance and repairs at prescribed intervals. Repairs will be arranged immediately as required. Maintains a clean vehicle in accordance with Health Canada. Ensures the vehicle is equipped with necessary PPE, safety equipment, tools, spill kit and other supplies.**
- **Maintains warehouse gas/liquid cylinders and/or vessel inventory levels and par levels. Ordering and shipping inventory when needed.**
- **Completes daily paperwork in a clear, accurate, and timely fashion, in its entirety. Maintains client confidence and protects VitalAire operations by keeping information confidential. Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.**
- **Contributes to team effort by working with other members of the health care team to achieve optimal client service. Ensures a safe supply of gases to clients in accordance with VitalAire’s Standard Operating Procedures(SOP) and Department of Transportation Regulations.**
- **Seeks to continuously improve the operation of the branch by evaluating processes and workflow, and participating in other quality improvement activities.**
- **Complies with applicable certification requirements and any new regulations. Promotes adherence to requirements, and making recommendations to management on needed actions (e.g. TDG).**
- **Fill plant duties as required depending upon location.**
- **Provides after hours service to clients by participating in branch on-call rotation.**
- **Load and unload trucks daily in a safe manner according to product needs as per patient\customer request ensuring product needed is on board for daily deliveries.**
- **Route management to communicate all changes to the logistics team, scheduling team, and customer care teams when required for delivery accuracy.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**
- **High School Diploma**
- **3-5 years of experience customer service as well as in a delivery or driving position**
- **Must possess a valid “3 or a 1” driver’s licence with relevant driving experience**
- **Must possess a clean driver's abstract.**
- **Previous forklift experience**
- **Bondable**
- **Clean criminal and vulnerable sector background
