**Job Summary**

We are looking for an **Electromechanical technician**for our **St-Constan**t site. You will be responsible for supporting the production process by performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all machinery.

In this position, your main **responsibilities**will include:

- Diagnosing electrical problems
- Repairing and/or installing equipment as needed
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on all machinery and equipment (HVAC, air compressor, vacuum pumps, water treatment system, boiler, autoclave, security system, etc.)
- Performing minor plumbing and other related building tasks

**Key Elements**

The minimum **qualifications**sought for this position are as follows:

- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Electromechanics
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electromechanics
- Experience and skills in control and automation (asset)
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5)

**Role-specific information**:

- **Location**: St-Constant / Free parking
- **Salary**: Starting at $34/hr. Possibility of starting with a higher salary based on experience
- Daytime **schedule**: 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to noon on Friday
- Depending on business needs, you may be required to work overtime
- Must be available to be on call 24/7 every 4 weeks with premium pay and be able to be on-site within 30 minutes
- Permanent position upon hire, full-time at 37 hours per week

**About Safety Assessment**Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
