We are seeking EXPERIENCED and reliable **Pickup Truck Plow Technicians and Salt Truck Operators** to join our winter operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating our Salt Trucks and distributing salt on our commercial properties.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a salt truck safely and efficiently in accordance with company and provincial safety standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment, reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
- Load salt and de-icing materials using appropriate equipment (e.g., loader or skid steer, if trained and authorized).
- Monitor weather and road conditions during shifts and adjust operations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, route completion, and hours worked.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors via radio or mobile device during operations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including environmental and safety regulations.
- Assist with snow removal operations when required (e.g., plowing, shoveling, or site cleanup).

**Required Qualifications**
- Availability for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays during winter storms.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Previous experience operating salt trucks
- Valid G driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle to drive to work sites.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, bending, shovelling, and working outdoors for extended periods of time in cold, snowy, and icy conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible for on-call winter work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Personal mobile device with a data plan (500MB monthly) for communication and using our work apps.
