**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Team Lead** to support the daily operations and sales performance of our retail store. In this role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to drive results, maintain high standards of customer service, and foster a positive, performance-driven team environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Store Operations & Sales Leadership**
- Assist in managing day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Support inventory management, purchase order accuracy, and help prevent stock discrepancies.
- Ensure the store meets merchandising, cleanliness, and maintenance standards at all times.
- Help monitor and achieve store sales targets while maximizing profitability and productivity.
- Contribute to creative sales strategies and incentive programs to boost team performance.
- Support cash handling, POS operations, and financial procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

**Team Management & Development**
- Lead by example on the sales floor, working alongside associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance goals.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
- Conduct regular check-ins to provide feedback, recognize achievements, and address performance concerns.

**Communication & Compliance**
- Use RQ by iQmetrix to manage sales, conduct inventory checks, and assist with scheduling.
- Help ensure company policies, operational standards, and compliance procedures are consistently met.
- Proactively address and resolve in-store issues such as inconsistent reporting, poor presentation, or process gaps.

**Strategic Support & Initiatives**
- Participate in team meetings to align on performance goals, sales targets, and company initiatives.
- Assist with in-store events, campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Suggest and help implement ideas to improve store operations and the customer experience.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role in retail.
- Wireless telecommunications industry experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
- Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Proficiency in POS systems and retail management software (e.g., RQ by iQmetrix).
- Knowledge of inventory control, financial procedures, and operational best practices.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to fast-paced environments, and remain results-focused.
- A passion for customer service and team development.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 2 years (required)
- Retail management: 1 year (required)
- Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
- Freedom Mobile : 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
