**Production Support Representative (GRD)**
To GRD Production Support Representative primary function process manual and configured bills of materials; assist to both team members and production staff with inquiries pertaining to MBOMs, CBOMs and breakdowns.
- Provide production assistance to cells in a prompt, professional manner.
- Strive to hit metrics as indicated by your Team Leader.
- Openly communicate and work cohesively with immediate team members and Team Leader.
- Ensure incoming requests are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner, guaranteeing that the request is either answered by a member of the MBOM team or answered by an outside group, where applicable.
- Ensure responses, Manual Bills of Materials and Configured jobs are done in an accurate, timely and error free manner.
- Verify other team members’ work for accuracy as required.
- Processing of Manual and Configured Bills of Materials.
- Provide Field Quality Report assistance to Quality when required.
- Work closely with Inbound Support, Design, Quality, Engineering and personnel in other departments or Production Lead Hands / Production Supervisors to ensure work is issued accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement with a goal of improving processes and increasing accuracy within the team.
- Communicate openly with Team Leader regarding delays and issues on requests that are being processed.
- Interpretation of inquiries, and provide direction to the correct parties when and if required.
- Filing and administrative duties as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum grade 12 education.
- Post Secondary Education preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing Environment preferred.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
