**Rx Drug Mart IDA **is welcoming applicants for a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to assist the team in Sturgeon Falls, On.

As a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, you will operate in accordance with the scope of practice and standards of practice as outlined by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
- Ensure that a prescription is complete and authentic
- Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
- Prepare and process prescriptions by performing duties such as entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, packaging, or repackaging medications
- Ensure the accuracy of a prepared prescription
- Perform the final check of a prepared prescription
- Ensure the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records

**Job Requirements**
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- Licensed/ Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Kroll is an asset

French Speaking an asset

Injection Trained an asset
