**POSITION OVERVIEW**

As a member of the Maintenance Team, the **Maintenance Technician** is responsible for ensuring the proper care, upkeep, and maintenance of a greenhouse and all onsite facilities.

The **Maintenance Technician** will perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance as well as respond to maintenance requests from departments to troubleshoot, identify and repair equipment to limit downtime.

Working collaboratively with the Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Technician will ensure the facility is in excellent working order including, but not limited to: boilers and heating system, shade and blackout systems, electrical and greenhouse poly.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Prior experience in maintenance, repair or a related field
- Self-driven, ability to take initiative
- Millwright experience is a strong asset
- Experience working with PVC materials
- Ability to operate and maintain greenhouse equipment, such as irrigation systems, heating, cooling and lighting systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with all team members
- Live within commuting distance of Iron Springs, AB. or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
