In your job as a Robot Testing Technician, you are responsible for the setup, supervision and operation of our robots. Working on-call, you will drive our robots to various worksites, prepare and run them for snow-plowing operations As someone who enjoys the outdoors, you love being out and about and getting to travel to different locations for work. With basic knowledge of robotics and maintenance, you are capable of troubleshooting basic technical issues in order to maintain the efficiency of robot operations.

***PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A TEMPORARY CONTRACT POSITION FOR 12 MONTHS**

Job Responsibilities:

- Remote control of robots for different kinds of maintenance including snow removal
- Loading and unloading of trailers and trucks
- Supervision of robots over several hours of operation
- Conducting basic robotic repair and/or troubleshooting technical issues
- Assist with equipment maintenance
- Travelling to and from worksites for operations
- Assist with operations in Manitoba as required

Required Skills/Experience:

- High school diploma and post-secondary degree as an asset
- Ability to travel within Canada for extended periods
- Valid driver's license + clean driving abstract
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including freezing temperatures, snow, heat, humidity and rain
- Experience with robotic troubleshooting/assembly as an asset
- Physical ability to walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment
- Ability to work in the AM and PM, including on weekends
