Community Engagement, Fundraising and Event Coordinator

**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a dynamic **Community Engagement and Event Coordinator** to foster relationships, organize impactful events, and drive fundraising efforts. In this role, you will help connect our clients, staff, and community, aligning with our mission to create an inclusive and empowering environment. You will also lead marketing efforts for client-made products, amplifying their talents and contributions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Event Planning & Execution**: Plan and manage agency-wide events, fundraising initiatives, and staff appreciation days. Collaborate with teams and partners to ensure success. Deliver engaging presentations and public speaking engagements.
- **Fundraising & Donor Relations**:Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet organizational goals. Conduct market research to identify potential donors and funding opportunities. Build and nurture relationships with donors and sponsors, implement donor engagement strategies, and oversee donor recognition programs. Manage fundraising events from conception through execution, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
- **Community Building**: Cultivate a culture of inclusion and respect while fostering connections within the organization and with the broader community.
- **Marketing & Sales**: Promote client-made products to showcase their abilities and raise awareness.
- **Administrative Duties**: Track event and fundraising performance, prepare reports, and stay informed on community engagement trends.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience and/or education in project management within a fundraising or nonprofit environment.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent public speaking abilities and confidence in presenting ideas to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, particularly in supervising teams or volunteers.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis related to fundraising efforts is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs
- Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to manage competing priorities with mínimal supervision.
- Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.

Pay: $56,908.00-$65,977.00 per year
