We believe our people are our competitive advantage. We are looking for a **Billing & Payroll Specialist** to join and support Sharp’s Head Office in Edmonton.

The Billing & Payroll Specialist reports to the Payroll/Billing Manager and is responsible for the administration of the overall billing cycle, working in conjunction with multiple branches, Operations, and payroll processing.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Provide support and liaison between Operations and Finance groups.
- Processing & uploading paperwork.
- Accurate data entry and detail oriented.
- Assist with company wide billing enquiries.
- Confirm trip routing for accuracy.
- Investigate & process driver pay.
- Finalize orders timely.
- Confirm all orders are supported with the required purchase order, bill of laden and permits.
- Complete tasks efficiently and accurately, adhering to strict deadlines.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 2-5 years of administrative experience, preferably within the transportation industry
- Post secondary Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related field.
- Applicants with Axon Software experience will be prioritized.
- Experience processing and correlating hourly pay as it relates to the billing process.
- Strong data entry skills
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel)
- Strong customer service skills including effectively and efficiently responding to inquiries and helping resolve any issues that might arise.
- Strong time management skills including an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing billing requirements.
- Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
