The Pawsh Dog is seeking individuals who are interested in pursuing a long term career in pet grooming.

Each apprentice will be paired with a senior stylist to help with tasks including:

- studying written and video materials
- completing written and hands on skills assessments
- cleaning
- laundry
- equipment maintenance
- bathing dogs
- drying dogs
- nail trimming and foot care
- brushing and combing dogs thoroughly
- removing wood ticks

As the apprentice's skills develop they will be trained further in skills including
- clipping dog hair with clippers
- trimming dog hair with scissors
- executing both pet and breed specific styles

Available for shifts between 7:00 AM - 7:00PM Monday to Sunday. 25-40 hours per week.

Be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 40Ibs

Taylor ( 10-1580 Taylor Avenue )

Corydon ( 1103 Corydon Avenue)

Marion ( 133 Marion Street)

Kenaston ( 2355 McGillivray Blvd)

Regent ( 1546 Regent Avenue W)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $15.30-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- pet industry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's license (preferred)
