**Position offered & Responsibilities.**

We are currently looking for new counter sale associates at our Burnaby and Richmond branches. It is the responsibility of the counter sale associate to facilitate the sale of goods in the warehouses. Specific duties include handling the Point-Of-Sales system, making invoices and sale orders, answering phone call inquiries, and picking merchandises for customers. The counter sale associate is also expected to perform warehouse duties such as stocking the shelves and cutting cables.

**Skills & qualifications**

In order to perform the duties mentioned, sale associates are expected to have a degree of working knowledge with electrical building materials such as pot lights, cables and load center panels; experiences working in the electrical construction is highly preferable, as is prior experience working in electrical supply stores. Professional training and education in electrician work is also highly desirable; basic education level of a highschool graduate is necessary.

The sale associate is also expected to have good communication skills, verbal and written, in order to have meaningful interactions with customers and coworkers. Employees are expected to be service-oriented, and able to maintain a professional but amiable appearance while at work. Familiarity with basic computer programs such as Word is desired.
