**Position Name**:Valve Technician

**Job Type**:Full Time - 40 Hours per week

**Rate**: Wage dependent on experience

**Shift**: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

**Qualifications for Valve Technician**:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Regularly required to lift and handle material up to 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift/handle up to 50 pounds
- Physical tasks include walking, grasping, carrying, lifting

**Required Skills for Valve Technician**:

- Must be highly trainable, dependable and efficient at production
- Must possess general mechanical aptitude and background with emphasis on trouble shooting and problem solving

**Required Experience/Education for Valve Technician**:

- 5 years in Oilfield Valve repair (ANSI, API) - disassembly, assembly and testing
- Overhead Crane certification
- Forklift certification
- High school Diploma
- Basic Computer skills
- Valid, clean driver’s abstract
- Understand and read English

**Additional Information for Valve Technician**:

- Fast pace shop
- Overtime required when necessary
- Frequent exposure to noise, heat, dust
- Valid First Aid ticket considered an asset
