**Job Description Summary**:

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform characterization and quantitation of various proteins, antibodies, and antibody complexes for STEMCELL’s raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
- Contribute to the development, qualification, and transfer of new analytical methods, with a focus on LC, CE, mass spectrometry, and protein binding assays
- Create high quality documentation of analytical methods, results, and reports to stakeholders
- Deliver presentations and collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to develop strategies to improve product quality, yield, and margin
- Support laboratory upkeep, safety, and development, including implementation of new technologies

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years of industry experience or Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in characterization and analysis of diverse protein types using either bioanalytical assays (e.g., ELISA, SPR, BLI, CE) or LC methods (e.g., reverse phase, HILIC, size exclusion, ion exchange)
- Exposure to protein and antibody characterization using mass spectrometry is an asset
- Familiarity with QbD principles and regulatory requirements for ISO/cGMP products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
